Takashi Kitami

Born in Tokyo. Graduated from Musashino Art University.
Active as an illustrator, he mainly works on book binding and illustrations.
Winner of the Sanrio Art Award in 1988 and other awards both in Japan and abroad. He has illustrated numerous mystery novels and foreign literature by Jiro Akagawa, Riku Onda, Hajime Orihara, Yasumi Tsuhara, and others. His book design collection "The Illusion of Books" (published by Atelier Third)
